In return for a sponsorship of 5.000 YTL, you will not only receive a Golden Meander plaque prepared on behalf of you or your corporation for your contribution in culture and art but you will also have the privileges of free access to activities with your Golden Meander card, priority in receiving information, private invitations, priority booking at special trips which are for limited numbers of parties, invitations to the special dinners, meetings and trips held for the Friends of Meandros Culture and Art, having your or your corporation’s name publicised under the Golden Meander list on Festival Meandros website and printed catalogues, and the free delivery of the Festival Meandros Catalogue to your address.

Silver Meander Scheme

In return for a sponsorship of 2.500 YTL, you will not only receive a Silver Meander plaque prepared on behalf of you or your corporation for your contribution in culture and art but you will also have the privileges of free access to activities with your Silver Meander card, priority in receiving information, invitations to the special dinners, meetings and trips held for the Friends of Meandros Culture and Art, having your or your corporation’s name publicised under the Silver Meander list on Festival Meandros website and printed catalogues, and the free delivery of the Festival Meandros Catalogue to your address.

Meander Figure


Dictionary definition, Meander: (m-ndr) to follow a winding and turning course. Holding a place in dictionaries and world literature, meander has been derived from the ancient names of the River Menderes (Meandros, Maiandros). Meander figure is the authentic ancient pattern of the region, depicting the winding course of the River Menderes. It is frequently seen in many ancient cities and temples.
